What happens when the girls from The Shire step out of The Shire?

A star of Network Ten's new reality TV series The Shire has been injured in a Sydney brawl yesterday. Botox-loving 28-year old Vanersa Toroman suffered a black eye and scratches when  two women targetted her and her The Shire co-star, Sophie Kalantzis, during an attack at Rhodes Shopping Centre.

The fight, which was shown on security footage broadcast on A Current Affair last night, took place outside Oliver Brown Cafe. The reality TV stars were approached by the two women, who were armed with a knife. The brawl lasted for five minutes. There is believed to be a personal history between the two parties. 

Network Ten and Shine Australia have released a statement detailing that the fight was not a part of filming for the show, stating that the matter is "now in the hands of the police."
