• This week's wallpaper: Kaleidoscope

  This Kaleidoscope wallpaper from Spanish illustrator Jordi Labanda has us reaching for the Liquorice Allsorts. The technicolour design is a fanciful mash-up of diagonal lines and chic-looking ladies popping out of bursting flower heads. And why not!?

  We've featured the 'bloom' colourscheme but there are other equally eye-catching colourways available in the design from Jordi's 2010 Vital collection for Spanish interiors superstore Coordonné.

• Last week's wallpaper: Poppies

  There is no doubt that Sanderson know their onions - or wallpapers. The esteemed British interior design brand's new collection - Colour For Living - features vibrant and distinctive prints bound to get your creative juices flowing. Our favourite pattern from the collection, Poppies, is painted in a technique similar to traditional Chinese ink-painting and printed with rich tones and multi-coloured flower heads on wide width paper. Available in four breezy colour ways, this design will lift a room and conjure up images of watercolour painting on a sunny spring day.

• Rabanna

  Who doesn't enjoy the smell of freshly cut grass? This sketchy paper from Osborne and Little's new Rabanna collection features chalk-effect lines that remind us of a newly-mown lawn, especially in the green option which, sadly we don't have a photo of (but you can check out for yourself on the link below). The paper, made of holographic foil on a non-woven base, is intended to resemble grass cloth and creates a stylish textured effect.

• Anemone

  And breathe! This pretty paper from New York designer Jill Malek will give any room a breath of fresh air and feeling of space. Jill's designs are inspired by the fluctuating patterns of frequency found in nature - which seems rather fitting for the typically British fluctuations in weather we've had of late.The textured, hand screen-printed wallpaper features threadlike, whispy anemone motifs and satiny, metallic slivers which catch the light and lift this already easy-breezy paper.

• Hackney Empire, Midnight

  With the trend for animal motifs in full swing in the wardrobe department - as seen on the likes of Fearne Cotton and Kate Bosworth - we thought why not stick it on your walls? This Hackney Empire wallpaper from subversive homewares specialists, House of Hackney, features many a warren, den and set's worth of animals revelling in debauchery. From hookah-smoking sloths to alcoholic badgers, all your wildest animal party dreams are here, gathered on a slice of midnight paper.

  The crazy animal motif design is digitally printed using environmentally friendly inks on FSC (ethical) paper. This is an expensive one, but since it's so ridiculously garish we don't imagine you'll be papering a big room with it.

• Rävdunge

  London Fashion Week has drawn to a close and anyone who followed the event will know that florals were eminent, with bold blooms conspicuous in the collections of Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto and Christopher Kane, amongst others. Taking the lead from LFW, this week's wallpaper choice is an audacious, florid creation from designer Hanna Werning's most recent collection for Boråstapeter - the distinguished Swedish wallpaper specialists.

  The stunning Scandi print features images of hunting foxes, pheasants and fish combined with an array of floral motifs and leaves.

• Bugs and Butterflies

  There is something morbidly charming about framed butterflies; when we discovered this Ella Doran wallpaper it seemed like a much more acceptable tribute to winged insects, and the sort of thing we'd have no issue with sticking on our walls. Along with the jewel-brights of the butterflies the digital print features earthy-toned moths, bottle green beetles, flutter-winged dragonflies and much more, on a murky blue-grey background.

• Snow Scene - Tundra

  How foolish we were last week, hastily rejoicing in the first signs of spring with a beautiful forsythia yellow design. As a nod to the sudden change of weather, this week's paper is the delightful Snow Scene - Tundra from US-based Aimee Wilder. Ok, so our weekend's snowfall wasn't exactly Arctic, but this vintage-inspired design is so much more appealing than a motif of muddy snowmen or black, icy, roadside mush.

• Yellow Damask

  We're not out of winter yet, but we've made it past the January blues and optimists will have noticed that the garden is starting to cheer up. The bright yellow of this Damask print paper from Timorous Beasties reflects the first signs of spring - the early-blooming forsythia, the welcome daffodils and, of course, the re-appearance of the sun. A great paper to celebrate our escape from January.
