The pair met on the set of Durie's TV show Top Design in 2011, in which interior designer Christie was a contestant.
After more than a year of dating, Jamie popped the question in a 'romantic sunset dinner' according to New Idea.

Australian singer Ricki-Lee Coulter is set to wed best friend and manager Richard Harrison.
Harrison proposed to Ricki-Lee just a few days before Christmas at their inner Sydney apartment.
Wedding plans are currently on hold for the newly engaged couple, but Ricki-Lee does have her eyes on Italy or Paris for the dream wedding.
Erin McNaught and Example
Australian model and TV presenter Erin McNaught is set to wed British music producer Example (real name Elliot Gleave).
Example proposed to Erin last month in her hometown of Brisbane, with Erin's rep also confirming "Erin and her boyfriend quietly got engaged last month".
The rumours are that the pair will tie the knot next year in Brisbane aswell.

In a video posted on TietheKnot.org, a new foundation that supports marriage equality, the actor reveals that he proposed to his boyfriend of two years, Justin Mikita. "It's true, I popped the big Q," Ferguson says. "I said yes!" Mikita answers in the clip
We didn't see that one coming! After quietly dating for more than six months, Avril Lavigne is engaged to fellow Canadian musician Chad Kroeger. A rep for Lavigne told People on Aug. 20 that the Nickelback frontman had popped the question. The couple got close after collaborating on a song for her upcoming album, and they started dating in February (shortly after Lavigne split from Brody Jenner). "A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together," a source revealed. Kroeger proposed Aug. 8 with a stunning 14-carat diamond. "He makes her so happy," a family source said. "Both of their families could not be more excited." This will be the second trip down the aisle for Lavigne, who was previously married to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley.

Kate Bosworth is too excited about her engagement to keep it a secret! The 29-year-old confirmed that she is engaged to director Michael Polish in a travel diary for Vogue.com. "On our first day in Seoul, my fiancé, Michael Polish, and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace," the star wrote. Although Bosworth's rep has yet to comment on the relationship status, we're taking the actress' word for it!

Will the third time be the charm for Cybill Shepherd? The 62-year-old former Moonlighting star -- who was previously married to David Ford and Bruce Oppenheim -- has confirmed to the New York Daily News that she's set to walk down the aisle once again. This time, the lucky man is boyfriend Andrei Nikolajevic, a Serbian psychologist and former jewelwer (check out that sparkler!). Nikolajevic proposed to the actress, who is currently starring in The Best Man on Broadway, early July in New York City. "It was very romantic," said Shepherd, "and on one knee."
Curtis Stone & Lindsay Price
Celebrity chef Curtis Stone is ready to walk down the aisle! The host of Around the World In 80 Plates confirmed on WNBC's New York Live that he and actress Lindsay Price were recently engaged. Together since 2009, the happy couple welcomed their first child, son Hudson, last November. "We're really enjoying being parents, Stone told People recently. "It was one of those unbelievable experiences. Coming out the other side, you look at this little baby boy you have made, and it's the depth of your love together that is amazing." It will be the first marriage for Stone and Price's second -- in 2007 she ended a three-year marriage with producer Shawn Piller.

Modern Family's sexiest star is off the market! Sofia Vergara is reportedly engaged to her on-again boyfriend Nick Loeb. The couple is currently in Mexico celebrating Vergara's 40th birthday -- and according to US Weekly, Loeb popped the question during the vacation. While the actress has yet to confirm the news, WonderWall posted a recent photo of Vergara sporting a diamond sparkler. The Colombian beauty first began dating Loeb in early 2010, and they briefly split up in May 2010. It seems Zach Galifianakis is adding to his wolf pack. According to Celebuzz, the Hangover star is engaged to his girlfriend, charity director Quinn Lundberg. A source tells Celebuzz of the invitation: "While it has the formal and standard details of who, what, when, where -- including Zach’s full name Zachary Knight Galifianakis and his fiancée’s, Mary Quinn Lundberg -- it is also very funny. Zach included a drawing of himself and his bride-to-be. He made sure he looked like a little troll, while Quinn is a stunning tall blonde princess." The comedian and his bride-to-be are asking guests to donate to the non-profit she co-founded, Growing Voices, which provides support for victims of domestic violence in North Carolina (Galifianakis' home state).

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth met on the set of the 2009 Nicholas Sparks romance movie The Last Song, and now -- after three years of dating -- they're ready to have their first dance! The 19-year-old former Hannah Montana star and her 22-year-old Hunger Games star of a beau are engaged to be married, their reps confirm to People. Hemsworth proposed May 31 with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond ring, and Cyrus tells People she couldn't be more excited: "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam."

British starlet Keira Knightley has found her prince charming! A rep for the Pirates of the Caribbean actress confirms that she is engaged to James Righton, a keyboard player for the U.K. indie rock band, Klaxons. The couple was first spotted together in April 2011 -- three months after it was revealed that she had split from her previous boyfriend of five years, her Pride and Prejudice costar Rupert Friend. Looks like it wasn't a rebound, after all!

Here's one rocker who's ready to settle down! Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill popped the question to girlfriend Martha Patterson, JustJared.com confirms. "Yes, it’s true!” the rep says. "Jared proposed to Martha on April 11 at his home in Nashville, and we’re all excited for the newly engaged couple." On May 2, Followill confirmed the news himself via Twitter, writing: "It's true! I'm engaged! CANNOT wait to finally lose my virginity." The musician and the aspiring model have only been dating for a few months, and Jared was previously linked to Twilight star Ashley Greene.

It's official! After seven years (and six kids) together, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged. "Yes, it's confirmed," Pitt's manager told People on April 13. Rumours had been swirling for months that Hollywood's golden couple had plans to walk down the aisle, but now we can officially start the wedding countdown!

It's official! It was first reported in January that French actor Olivier Martinez had popped the question to girlfriend Halle Berry, but the couple (who began dating in 2010, after costarring in Dark Tide) stayed mum about the reports. But on March 10, Martinez confirmed the rumours to the Miami Herald. "Yes, of course it's true," he said. Most recently, Berry was linked to model Gabriel Aubry, with whom she has 3-year-old daughter Nahla. The actress has also been married twice before -- to baseball player David Justice in the early 1990s and to singer Eric Benet in the early 2000s.
Drew Barrymore & Will Kopelman
Drew Barrymore is ready for her happy ending! The actress is reportedly engaged to art consultant Will Kopelman, and sources told People on Jan. 5 that "they are very happy together." The couple were first linked together in February 2011 -- and even though they've refrained from dishing details about their relationship, they've made several public appearances together over the last few months. This will be the third wedding for Barrymore, who was married to Tom Green from 1999 to 2001 and to Jeremy Thomas briefly in 1994.

Rumors had already been swirling for weeks that Justin Timberlake had popped the question to Jessica Biel, when the news was finally confirmed by several sources on Jan. 5. The couple has stayed quiet about the reports, but sources say they got engaged while vacationing in Montana over the holidays. And Timblerlake's grandma Sadie Bomar allegedly dished to Gossip Cop about her grandson. "He called me on Christmas Day and told me he’s engaged," she said. Congrats to the tight-lipped duo!
Britney Spears & Jason Trawick
It's going to be a very merry Christmas for Britney Spears! The pop princess is engaged to her former manager Jason Trawick, whom she's been dating since 2009. The singer, 30, hinted at the news via Twitter on Dec. 16, posting: "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!!" A source later confirmed to Us Weekly that the Trawick had popped the question. This will be the third trip down the aisle for Spears, who was previously married to Kevin Federline and Jason Alexander.
Rosie O'Donnell & Michelle Rounds
There are wedding bells in Rosie O'Donnell's future! The comedian is preparing to tie the knot with girlfriend Michelle Rounds, her rep confirmed to People on Dec. 5. The couple began dating earlier this year after meeting at a Starbucks, and the TV star happily gushed about her new love in October: "She didn't look like any lesbian I'd ever met!"
